WHO BOUGHT THE POLLOCK?

A Jackson Pollock painting sold for $181 million a couple of weeks ago.

$181 million.

My first thought was how ironic it is that Pollock struggled financially during his lifetime, and now, decades after his death, someone paid millions for this painting.

Who bought it?

Seriously. I want to know who this person is. What else is in their art collection? What does their house look like? Can you imagine the security?

Apparently, the buyer hasn't been publicly identified, which somehow makes the whole thing even more fascinating.

I don't necessarily need to understand why they bought it. I'm more interested in the person who can buy it.
